Love
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you must love one another.” John 13:34
How exactly do we love others just like Jesus loved us?
Jesus set many examples of what love looks like. From having the little children come, to healing lepers, to dying on the cross for the World. His giving and sacrifice set the tone for how we are to love! Though we may not be able to give immediate sight to the blind or raise someone from the grave, there are MANY ways we can show Jesus’s sacrificial love for one another.
In my life of self-focus and 4 kids, I often miss the opportunity to show Jesus’s sacrificial love. Too wrapped up with my schedule and list of to-do’s, I miss moments of the Holy Spirit speaking to me to do more!
In what ways today, can we show love to other? It can be as simple as a kind smile, or loving words instead of harsh ones, It could be finding time to meet someone’s physical or emotional needs.
I have been sitting on this graphic for awhile but finally digitalized it this week! As Valentine’s is just a bit over a month away, show some love to friends and family by giving them a gift of love!
