Joy Comes in the Morning

This design is inspired by the beloved mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway. That’s one of my happy places, that I rarely get to visit. But it’s wonderful just standing in awe of the vastness and creativity of God. Knowing He created it just by speaking. Seeing His power in shaping the Earth.

Looking at the mountains provides me comfort, just knowing that God has it all in His hands and there is hope for the future, hope for the next day. Sadness, anger, and depression do not have to remain. I know that we cannot wish away these feelings, but when we face God and hand these issues to Him, day by day, things can improve. Day by day you can look forward to joy.

The verse that this phrase comes from is Psalms 30. If you have never read this chapter out loud, give it a try. It's not too long, just 12 verses. While you read this chapter, hear the passion and celebration of David’s song. David went through some incredible struggles and this psalm celebrates and thanks God for pulling David through. When we celebrate and thank God for getting us from the pit, we can find joy in the mornings.

Today, what is something that you can thank God for? What is something you can celebrate?

Sing a song, share a smile, and bring joy!
