Sea Lion Life

Last week we had some amazing experiences at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. At Dolphin Cay, we had the opportunity to meet dolphins and sea lions, and in my opinion, the sea lions were so much more fun!! These social animals are smart and seriously playful! Honestly, I wanted to cuddle up and take one home!

Did you know, there are only 6 species of sea lions on the earth? There were 7, however the Japanese Sea Lion is now extinct. All sea lions are considered endangered. And while there have been multiple steps to help protect these amazing creatures, there is more that can be done. Between reducing ocean pollution and protecting their habitats from fisheries, sea lions have a chance.
