be kindness

I can say some unkind things! Frustration, bitterness, and a sense of unfairness easily takes precedence over the call to be kind. Pessimistic viewpoints wash over any sense of what should be a positive attitude. Often the Holy Spirit prods me to rethink my position and I realize how unkind I really was.

We hear the term, “be kind” so often. I use it with my children frequently. But “be kindness” isn’t the same as “be kind.” Anyone can be kind, but to have kindness just flow from you takes the Holy Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—against such things there is no law.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭TLV‬‬
