Lines

Have you ever been so busy that you were overwhelmed to the point of breaking down? So busy that everywhere you looked, you were met with extreme anxiety or frustration? We have all been there at least a time or two. Sometimes it feels hopeless that you will forever be treading water.

There is still beauty that can be found when you feel like you are going too many directions. I love to see how God intricately weave moments, even in the chaos! We had a situation this past week where my husband needed to be 2 places at once. He was going to have to miss something important or miss another important thing. God knew, and intervened so my husband wouldn’t have to miss both. Realizing that God cares, even about our schedules, makes me feel loved.

“Ah, my Lord Adonai! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm—nothing is too hard for You!”

In our chaos and frantic feelings, we still have an opportunity to do everything for God’s glory and share His love! To be honest, I struggle with this! Have you ever been in such a rush that you had tunnel vision and missed people, emotions and opportunities? Have you hurt people with curt words and snipped tones? These are the moments, that when listening to the Holy Spirit, despite the chaos, we can show God’s glory and love!

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 TLV

Finally, God gives us rest! That doesn’t mean immediately, nor does it mean that things will be easy, but He does love us, and we can know that this will eventually pass and when we look back we will wonder why in the we were stressed to begin with!

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and ‘you will find rest for your souls.’ For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30 TLV

So take heart, when looking at what seems like chaos, take a moment and find the beauty in it all!
