God’s got this, just go with His flow. “You keep in perfect peace one whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3 TLV
This design represents the flow mixed with God’s faithfulness and promises (the rainbow).
Last week was Kids Week (VBS)! So the inspiration for this design should be simple enough. But it’s not.
Not only was last week Kids Week, but let’s throw in a power-gobbling thunderstorm, debilitating migraine, recovering from some kind of cold (probably allergies), parenting a young teenager, and probably several other unknowns. This design makes more sense now, right?
Let’s also add in the spoon theory (if you aren’t sure, ask me or goggle it), and my spoons for the week were used up in less than 2 days.
I could say, “I fully trusted God, went with the flow, and reminded myself of His faithfulness and promises.” But that would be a lie. Some things weren’t mine to worry over. Some things weren’t significant enough and going with God’s flow worked perfectly. And some things I unnecessarily worried over or allowed to distract me.
And yet, God still had His hand over it all. Peace comes when we look to Him, trust in Him and go with His flow. Don’t get swept away with the worries.
